(If you use the blacksn0w unlock (at baseband 05.11.07), you need to stay at 3.1.2.). Mac owners can now jailbreak iphone Firmware 3.0. IPhone Dev Team announced the availability of PwnageTool for Mac through MuscleNerd on twitter and on their blog as well. It looks like the Dev team have decided to release their tools in phases due to bugs and unexpected changes. Though the PwnageTool is now available for Mac OS X, QuickPwn for Mac OS X and Windows will take them more.
Feb 09, 2018 The iPhone Dev-Team has released PwnageTool 3.1.5 for Mac OS X. It allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to safely upgrade to firmware 3.1.3. With PwnageTool you can preserve jailbreak and ultrasn0w unlock. But if you're using the blacksn0w unlock with baseband 05.11.07 you will need to stay at firmware 3.1.2.
The Dev Team did it again in style by releasing Pwnage tool for 3.1.3 iPhone Firmware. 3.1.3 Firmware from Apple is not a noteworthy upgrade and it is suggested you skip it! Few bug fixes, battery fixes, unlock-mess ups are everything Apple has to offer with 3.1.3 firmware! Some of us just like the higher software version and there is nothing stopping us from trying it, eh?
